I'll always remember Jim as a good natured friend.  When I played football with him at DSPJH he was a little bull.  Like so many friends, time often takes us on separate paths.  But there were places in time where we shared our lives.  We met in first grade and were friends ever since.  Even if we saw each other on rare occasion, we could always say hello and talk at ease.   I'm sad I didn't make it to the reunion to see Jim.  I'm sad I'll never get to say hello to Jim again.  The last time we spoke was at Farmer Johns on Howell Ave when he worked there.   Jim lives on in our memories.  RIP Big Jim

We will miss you Jim.   Ray, my hat goes off to you.  You really took care of Jim, and you were always there for him.  I am very sorry for your loss.

I will remember all of those hot football practices, and remember the anchor of the offensive line, that was the "Center" of the team.  I can remember Coach telling Jim, "find the nearest person in front of you and block them"  And he did a heck of a job doing it.

This photo was taken at Apple Bee's after I had a nice conversation with Jim.  He will truly be missed and my heartful sympathy is extended to the family.  The class of 1983 has lost another wonderful person.  God has taken another rose (referring to Jim) from this earth and placed Jim in the Rose Garden.  I love you but God loves you best.
